Job description

Mano Lani is looking for an Access and Identity Management Analyst to serve as the on-site Local Registration Authority providing PKI certificate lifecycle support to Marine Corps units and G6 communications staff at I MEF, Camp Pendleton. This position is the forward face of the USMC PKI program at the installation level and additionally serves as the COOP Registration Authority, performing full RA operations functions to support network continuity.
 
Note: The Camp Pendleton position serves as the COOP Registration Authority and requires DoD/NSS PKI Registration Authority Certification and Key Recovery Agent Certification in addition to LRA Certification. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
• Provide LRA support ensuring PKI Server Certificates are requested, approved, and installed in accordance with PKI Policy 
• Execute PKI certificate registration, management, and revocation requests; ensure all activities are documented in the ticket management system 
• Perform CAC PIN Reset operations for end users within the area of responsibility 
• Archive PKI data in compliance with the CPS and Registration Practice Statement 
• Plan, coordinate, and implement evolving PKI initiatives at the local level in conjunction with the local G6 
• Submit monthly status reports to the USMC RA including token issuance numbers, trouble calls processed, and current issues 
• Perform full RA Operations functions as the COOP RA including NIPR/SIPR key recovery, alternate token issuance via NEATs, and SIPRNet token production via TMS 
• Serve as Key Recovery Agent for the COOP RA mission 

Required Qualifications 
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance 
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline 
• CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II baseline certification 
• DoD/NSS Local Registration Authority Certification required 
• DoD/NSS PKI Registration Authority Certification required 
• DoD/NSS Key Recovery Agent Certification required 
• Experience with PKI certificate issuance, revocation, and CAC PIN reset operations 
• Ability to monitor, analyze, and report on local PKI security posture 
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
• Prior experience as an LRA or RA at a DoD installation 
• Familiarity with Remedy/E-ITSM ticketing and SharePoint-based reporting 
• Experience working with G6 or IT staff in a Marine Corps or DoD environment 
 
Security: 
Requires the applicant to possess and maintain an active security clearance for the position. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.
 
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
