Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient centered behavioral health care for the greater Milwaukee community. Our 120-bed facility features evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and older adults. We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Days/Nights to join our new team. The LPN provides nursing care for behavioral health patients ranging from adolescent through geriatric. The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. Qualifications: The LPN position requires education from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing, minimum one (1) year as a LPN in psychiatric nursing preferred, currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Wisconsin required. Additional requirements include CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of CPI training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
