Pay Rates: $35 / visit

Maxim Healthcare in Reno, NV is looking for passionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to help with our Visit Care patients on Saturdays and Sundays in the North Reno/Sparks area. 

 Visit care shifts specialize in approximately 1 hour visits, working with adult patients in group homes and consist of a g-tube feeding, medication administration, and a full head to toe assessment.

Our current shifts range from about 6AM-2PM and 5PM-8PM (on Saturdays) and 6AM-9AM, 6AM-2PM, and 5PM-8PM (on Sundays)

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

  • Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
  • Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
