How does an LPN working in informatics typically interact with clinical and IT teams?

You'll often collaborate with nurses, physicians, and administrative teams to understand their workflow needs, then communicate these requirements to IT professionals responsible for maintaining electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare systems. This role involves translating clinical language into technical specifications, helping to implement new software or upgrades, and often providing training and support to staff. Effective communication and a strong understanding of both clinical processes and healthcare technology are essential for success in this collaborative environment.

This role combines nursing knowledge with information technology skills to support the efficient and effective delivery of healthcare.

What is the highest paid LPN job?
