Job description

We are seeking several Nurses (LPN and/or RN) to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Correctional LPN/RN cares for and treats detainees in correctional facilities.
  • Duties will include but are not limited to medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid
  • Monitor basic patient health, i.e. vital signs and overall condition and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Provides safe and effective nursing care and assumes responsibility for the care delivered
  • Provides direct basic care to assign multiple clients within the structure of the healthcare program at their facility
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Dressing changes on wounds
  • Assist with and/ or procedures and administration of medications.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of employment or Compact State Nursing License
  • Possession of an active CPR certification
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role
