What are LPDs?

LPD stands for 'Landing Platform Dock,' which is a type of amphibious warfare ship used by navies, particularly for transporting troops, vehicles, and equipment. LPDs have the capability to launch and recover landing craft and helicopters, allowing them to support amphibious assaults and humanitarian missions. They are designed with well decks and large hangars, enabling versatile operations in both military and disaster relief contexts. LPDs play a crucial role in projecting naval power and providing logistical support during operations.

These skills are crucial for developing impactful learning programs that support employee growth and organizational goals.
