Bright Mind Intervention Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our telehealth team on a part-time basis. This role is designed for professionals who hold valid credentials as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This role is exclusively remote, giving you the flexibility to work from any location with reliable internet access. You will engage in virtual therapy sessions through secure teletherapy platforms, which provide an efficient and user-friendly experience for both counselors and clients. Our supportive virtual work environment allows for regular supervision, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to excel in your practice.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat focusing on enhancing clients’ mental health and well-being.
• Facilitate deep discussions on emotions and experiences, aiding clients in gaining insight into their behaviors and interpersonal relationships.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients, assisting them in setting personal goals and defining pathways to realize these objectives.
• Evaluate clients’ mental conditions and utilize your clinical expertise to develop tailored treatment plans employing a solution-focused approach.
• Utilize digital tools and resources to manage client notes, track progress, and adjust treatment as required, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.

Our clients have been prescreened and are generally stable individuals with low acuity mental health concerns. This allows counselors to focus on therapeutic interventions that foster positive growth without the immediate crisis management that higher acuity cases may require. You will be instrumental in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• A valid and active license as an LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW is essential.
• Proven ability to practice independently, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities, combined with a compassionate and empathetic nature, tailored to client needs.
• Strong technological proficiency, especially in the use of telehealth platforms.

• Previous experience working in a mental health setting, particularly in a teletherapy context, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Experience in advocacy and goal-setting for clients is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and client management systems.
