Invasive Care Consultants is seeking a dedicated and talented Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in Athens, Georgia. The role of LPC will be performed in a remote outpatient setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that a professional and structured environment is maintained. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Invasive Care Consultants, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive ongoing assessments tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders to discuss patient progress and updates.
• Developing and sharing a tentative schedule outlining appointments, home visits, and monitoring activities to track patient development.
• Coordinating essential home visits for in-home observations, chart reviews, and data analysis to ensure a thorough understanding of each client's environment and needs.
• Implementing and adhering to program plans with fidelity, ensuring the effective delivery of therapeutic interventions.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and contributing to important discussions about patient care.
• Completing monthly and quarterly progress notes to document patient outcomes and service effectiveness.
• Organizing and conducting training for staff members on the correct implementation of program guidelines and documentation practices.
• Providing follow-up support, including additional interviews, home visits, and observations to ensure that patients continue to receive necessary assistance.
• Maintaining comprehensive records that are readily accessible to authorized parties, safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
• Acting as a liaison with the broader mental health community to provide support toward developmental goals and initiatives.
• Assisting in the creation and enhancement of training materials aimed at improving program quality.

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. You will provide targeted interventions for populations dealing with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, familial conflicts, and substance misuse. The ability to engage effectively with clients from differing backgrounds and age groups is essential in ensuring effective therapeutic outcomes.

To successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling setting, showcasing direct patient engagement.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients effectively.
• Proven experience working collaboratively with various healthcare team members to develop integrated care plans.

Candidates with the following specialties will be given preference:

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse counseling.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies to enhance service delivery.
