Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to tailor treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care strategies.
  • Maintain an organized schedule detailing appointments, home visits, and observations to ensure thorough monitoring of treatment effectiveness.
  • Organize and coordinate home visits as needed, adhering to professionals' protocols for in-home assessments, including chart reviews and staff interviews.
  • Ensure the implementation of treatment programs is efficient and aligns with clients' goals.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating with colleagues to refine treatment approaches.
  • Complete and document monthly and quarterly progress notes to track client development.
  • Facilitate training sessions to ensure staff are competently educated on treatment plans and documentation practices.
  • Provide continuous follow-up through interviews and home visits to reinforce support aligned with patients' ongoing needs.
  • Oversee record management, ensuring all client information is organized, secure, and readily accessible to relevant parties.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and the mental health community to promote developmental goals and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials aimed at enhancing program efficacy for individuals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Invasive Care Consultants, you will cater to a diverse client base, including adults and youth across various demographics. Your work will encompass addressing challenges such as family dynamics, trauma, and substance abuse, ensuring that you adapt your therapeutic approaches to suit each client's experiences and needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental healthcare.
