Job description

Seeking skilled Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in service technician roles. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings. The technician will work closely with HVAC Manager to ensure their HVAC needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and replace heating and air conditioning equipment and systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct field service visits to assess and resolve any HVAC deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with construction teams on HVAC design and installation projects.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs of service technician experience in the HVAC field preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and manuals.
  • Experience with electrical and plumbing at a moderate to advanced level.
  • Familiarity with multiple refrigeration systems.
  • Experience in property maintenance or construction is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using tools necessary for diagnostics.
  • Previous experience with Chillers, central plant, or boiler systems is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
