The Behavioral Foundation Center is looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in providing exceptional outpatient services. • Deliver individualized psychotherapy services to diverse client populations, including individuals, couples, and families, addressing mental health challenges and facilitating personal development.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that effectively meet the unique needs of each client.
• Provide weekly supervision to practicum students or interns navigating their clinical licensure requirements, ensuring their professional development aligns with best practices in mental health therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and community resources, to offer the most comprehensive support to clients.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client sessions, treatment progress, and any relevant communications, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training programs, team meetings, and staying abreast of the latest research and therapy methodologies.

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.
• A valid state license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) is essential for practice.
• Proven experience of at least two years in the field of mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapy techniques and client engagement.
• Professional liability insurance is necessary to ensure compliance and protection.

• Previous experience providing supervision to interns or graduate students is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care, will be advantageous.
• Experience working within an outpatient setting and familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our compensation package is generous, with unlimited and uncapped earnings potential based on client caseload and performance.
