Job description

BARBERTON MANCAN is assisting a growing manufacturing company in Barberton seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its finance team.
Shift is 8a-5p Monday-Friday.
Pay is BOE- $50,000$60,000/yr
This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term accounting career in a collaborative environment that values employee development and internal promotion.
Job Duties:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice processing, payment application, collections, and account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
Serve as a point of contact for vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.
Administer employee expense reports, reimbursements, and corporate credit card reconciliations.
Maintain vendor records, collect W-9 documentation, and assist with 1099 preparation.
Support ERP system processes and financial reporting accuracy.
Assist with banking activities, compliance filings, fixed asset tracking, audit preparation, and other accounting functions as responsibilities grow.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
12 years of accounting experience preferred (internship experience considered).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new software systems.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.
Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
