Your Launchpad into Entrepreneurship or a Career — Not Just a Job.
Let me be upfront with you: I'm not looking to fill a seat in an office. I'm looking for the right person, my number 2 in the entrepreneurial pursuit of a lifetime.
If you're someone who gets genuinely excited about learning something new, who feels energized when they solve a problem nobody handed them a manual for, and who wants to actually matter in their work — keep reading. This might be exactly what you've been looking for.
Who I Am & What I’m Building
I'm a veteran, accountant, photographer and most importantly an entrepreneur. With multiple businesses I am actively growing at the same time and additional ventures in the pipeline, I'm building something more than a business, I’m building my dreams — and I've reached the point where I simply can't do it all alone anymore.
I need a right-hand person. A go-to. Someone who can grow alongside me as things scale.
This isn't a faceless corporation. You won't be one of forty assistants copying files in a back office. You'll be working directly with me, across multiple companies, seeing how real businesses grow from small operations into businesses with multiple employees. Join me along the ride in my journey to scaling businesses from infancy to hundreds of thousands in revenue, and who knows, maybe a private equity deal in the future. Most importantly I’m looking for someone who is excited to learn how to operate various businesses and overcome challenges, celebrate the wins and everything in between.
What This Role Actually Looks Like
This starts as a part-time internship, with roughly 10 - 20 hours per week — but don't let that fool you. The upside potential for growth here is nearly significant.
For the right person, this role has a clear path toward more hours, various interesting responsibilities, and eventually full-time employment. I'll walk you through exactly what career growth can look like during your interview — but the short version is: the more you can offer, the more you'll get back.
We'll begin with hands-on, in-person training so you can really get your footing on the ground floor in my accounting practice. Once you're up to speed, remote work becomes an option — giving you flexibility while still being deeply involved in what we're building.
What You'll Be Doing
Because you'll be supporting multiple businesses, your day-to-day will vary — and that's part of what makes this exciting. Here's a snapshot:
Financial & Tax Operations Helping communicate with clients, prepare and organize individual and small business tax returns, reviewing financial documents, maintaining client files, and keeping everything accurate and confidential. Detail matters a lot here — and you'll be trained to deliver it. Once you have demonstrated you can handle this, I will move you onto more exciting entrepreneurial ventures.
Business Operations Supporting or developing new workflows, maintaining systems, helping onboard new clients, and tracking deadlines across multiple companies. You'll be building the backbone that keeps everything running smoothly.
Research, Strategy and Marketing As you grow into the role, you'll be involved in real research, operational problem-solving, and contributing ideas in planning conversations that could lead to whole new product launches, developing marketing campaigns or new strategies. Your perspective will actually be heard.
Communication & Coordination Initially backend-focused, but as your confidence builds, you'll have the opportunity to step into client-facing communications, scheduling, and even supporting growth and marketing efforts.
The through-line in all of it? You will be learning constantly. If you're someone who thrives on that — this is your environment.
Training & Support
I'm investing in you from day one:
You won't be thrown into the deep end without support, but I will challenge you — because that's how growth actually happens.
Let's Talk About the Bigger Picture
I want to be straight with you: this is not a J.O.B.
If you're looking for something to clock in and clock out of without thinking twice, this probably isn't your fit — and that's okay.
But if you're someone who wants a mentor, someone who wants to see how entrepreneurship really works from the inside, someone who wants their work to actually mean something — then I think we could work great together.
The best version of this role evolves into something that feels more like a close professional partnership than a traditional employment arrangement. We'll work closely together, especially in the beginning, and if things click the way I'm hoping, this becomes a long-term relationship built on trust, shared goals, and mutual investment in each other's success.
Compensation and Milestone Pay Increases
Starting Rate$17.50/hour
Annual Raise (minimum)+$2.50/hour
Certification (CPA/EA/Etc.) Raises +$5.00/hour
Long-Term Ceiling Up to $45.00/hour
Beyond wages, the long-term track for the right person includes conversations about partnership and equity participation. Compensation details and career progression can be covered in full during your face-to-face interview — but know that this structure is designed to reward loyalty and excellence, not just time served.
A Note on Fit — Please Read This
Because we'll be working this closely together, compatibility matters — not just professionally, but personally.
I'm a U.S. Army Veteran and currently serving officer in the US Army reserve and my service to country is a core part of who I am now. My businesses, my values, and the way I live are all shaped by that background. I have deep respect for this country and for those who serve it — and that's not something I am willing to separate from how I operate.
I'm not asking you to share every belief I hold. Healthy, respectful differences of opinion are part of any real relationship. But I am being honest that I need someone I can fully trust, rely on, and feel comfortable with in close quarters — and in today's environment, that includes being candid that this role is not the right fit for anyone who carries open hostility toward veterans, the military, or the United States.
