This remote position facilitates a flexible work environment that allows mental health professionals to balance their personal and professional lives effectively. Our outpatient office setting is focused on delivering care via telehealth platforms ensuring HIPAA compliance, offering a safe and confidential space for therapy sessions. We provide a cloud-based electronic health records system to streamline documentation and billing, allowing counselors to focus on their core responsibility: patient care.

• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to identify and address mental, emotional, and social challenges.
• Employ a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) system to document sessions, monitor client progress, and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans to manage symptoms of varied mental health conditions, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Provide ongoing support and therapy through virtual sessions while maintaining strict adherence to ethical and legal guidelines regarding client confidentiality and safety.
• Efficiently manage a caseload that encourages continuity of care, ensuring clients receive the support they need in a timely manner.
• Engage in professional development through ongoing training and education to stay current with the best practices in mental health counseling.

The LPC will work with a varied clientele, including individuals experiencing mental health disorders, trauma-related conditions, and those in need of support navigating life’s challenges. • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid ability to provide effective therapy and support.
• Proficient with technology, including a reliable computer, stable internet connection, and a webcam, to facilitate online counseling sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively, while being responsive to client needs.
• Successful completion of a background check is necessary for all applicants.
• Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as needed, reflecting the flexible scheduling options we offer.

Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms is highly desirable, as is familiarity with behavioral health EHR systems. Counselors with specialties in trauma-informed care, addiction recovery, or dual diagnosis treatment will find their skills particularly valued in our organization.

• Annual salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with education, experience, and specialization.
