The Wellbeing Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote telehealth setting. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the LPC at Wellbeing Counseling Center are comprehensive and integral to our mission:

  • Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate and meet the specific needs of your patients.
  • Maintain effective communication with supervisors and other members of the healthcare team, as well as family members and other stakeholders to discuss client progress and treatment plans.
  • Develop and share tentative schedules for appointments, home visits, and monitoring activities to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Coordinate home visits when necessary, adhering to standards for in-home observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis.
  • Oversee the effective implementation of treatment plans and ensure they are executed properly, making adjustments as needed based on patient feedback.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other meetings to collaborate with healthcare professionals and enhance treatment approaches.
  • Document client progress through monthly and quarterly notes, ensuring accurate reporting of changes and developments.
  • Organize training sessions to certify the competence of staff and team members in implementing program plans and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and home visits to ensure continuous care and adjustment of treatment as needed.
  • Act as a liaison with both the public and mental health communities to improve awareness and accessibility of our services.
  • Assist in developing training materials aimed at enhancing programs for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an LPC will involve working with a diverse patient population, including both adults and youth. We cater to individuals facing a variety of challenges such as family dynamics, trauma, substance misuse, and emotional distress. Your expertise will guide clients through their journey toward healing and personal growth.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • At least two years of experience in a counseling role, with a preference for clinical experience.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a diverse clientele.
