Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team at Wellbeing Counseling Center. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate and address the mental health needs of clients, ensuring individualized care tailored to each person.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care teams to discuss patients’ progress, treatment plans, and any necessary adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain a tentative schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations to track and monitor client progress and treatment efficacy.
  • Coordinate essential home visits, including in-home observations and chart reviews for thorough evaluations of client situations.
  • Oversee the implementation of program plans, ensuring that established interventions are executed effectively and appropriately.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights and updates on patient care activities.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes meticulously to reflect clients’ development and treatment outcomes accurately.
  • Organize training sessions that ensure staff competencies in program implementation and documentation standards.
  • Facilitate follow-up interviews and ongoing home visits to provide continued support and adaptation of care plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to guarantee that information is accessible to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison with the public and other mental health entities, fostering relationships to support developmental goals within the community.
  • Assist in creating and refining procedures and training materials aimed at enhancing program delivery and effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is diverse, comprising individuals from various age groups, including both adults and youth. This role offers you the chance to work closely with clients facing various mental health challenges, allowing you to employ your expertise to facilitate healing and empowerment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a strong preference for clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma is highly preferred.
  • A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a wide range of clientele.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams to promote client wellbeing.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and associated technologies for documentation and care management.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a telehealth framework is greatly valued.
  • Strong familiarity with evidence-based counseling modalities and therapeutic interventions.
Compensation and Benefits
