Job description

Georgia Recovery Campus is a premiere dual diagnosis detox and residential facility in Reynolds, Georgia that serves adult patients. We have a holistic approach to patient care. Our patients are treated with respect and our staff pays attention to the individual needs of each patient. Each patient is complex, and treatment plans are individualized to those needs and goals of recovery. Our program utilizes both group, individual therapy, psychopharmacology and a wide variety of experiential therapies.

Job Responsibility:

· Provides individual, group and family therapy along with process groups, psychoeducational groups, and crisis intervention services

· Provides psychosocial assessments, initial and Master treatment plans, individual therapy notes, group notes and discharge summaries

· Works closely with treatment team including medical providers, Intake coordinators, aftercare coordinators, nurses, and Clinical Director

· Completes clinical documentation promptly in line with state, insurance, and joint commission regulations

· Attends staff training and meetings as required by employer

· Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

· Masters in counseling, social work, or psychology

· LPC, LAPC, or CADC, are strongly preferred

· Experience working with addictions and mental health diagnosis

· Ability to use a variety of counseling interventions including CBT, DBT, Trauma-informed, family systems, etc.

· The understanding of an array of theories and models of addiction and mental illness

· Knowledge of philosophies, practices and outcomes of different treatment models

· Understanding of relapse prevention through the continuum of care

· Understanding of dual diagnosis populations

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Competent in areas of gender-specific issues, diverse cultures, and the ability to incorporate the needs of the patient into treatment

· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize daily and weekly tasks appropriately

· Understanding of KIPU electronic medical record system is preferred. Training will be offered

· CPR/First Aid Certification
