In this remote position, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while being an integral part of our outpatient program. Though primarily remote, our team prioritizes communication and collaboration through various digital platforms. • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, identifying problems and tailoring therapeutic approaches accordingly.
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans based on individual client goals, incorporating various therapeutic methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions, as well as group sessions, utilizing advanced therapeutic interventions to facilitate client growth and recovery.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with peers, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive treatment of clients with multiple needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
• Participate in continuous professional development, including clinical supervision, case consultations, and training workshops to enhance your skills and stay current in the mental health field.

You will serve a diverse clientele, including adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and mood disorders. • Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Competence in evidence-based therapies and clinical methodologies applicable to a variety of mental health challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to articulate therapeutic concepts effectively.
• A commitment to ethical practice and the safeguarding of client confidentiality at all stages of care.

• Prior experience working with youth and families is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methods.
• Participation in community outreach programs or initiatives that promote mental health awareness.
