This role operates primarily in a virtual environment, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients effectively. • Manage a diverse caseload of clients, fostering rapport and maintaining professional boundaries to facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to evaluate their progress, discuss stability, and plan for discharge when appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and therapeutic needs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation, including progress notes and updates on treatment interventions, ensuring compliance with record-keeping standards.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and establish treatment baselines.
• Engage in individual therapy sessions throughout the week, adhering to best practices in therapeutic methodologies.
• Participate in ongoing individual supervision sessions to enhance professional skill set and address any clinical concerns.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, address cross-disciplinary needs, and support holistic treatment approaches.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with youth and families and possess the ability to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use, and behavioral concerns. • A Master’s degree in Mental Health or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
• Prior experience in conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and providing individual and group therapy is essential.
• Proficient computer skills, with competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic keyboarding abilities.

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective treatment plans.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver remote services.
• Background in crisis intervention and conflict resolution within therapeutic settings.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and their application in individual and group therapy.
