Job description

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) | Full-Time Telehealth Role in Connecticut

Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide remote therapy services to clients throughout Connecticut. In this role, you will meet with clients through a secure telehealth platform, complete clinical assessments, create treatment plans, and provide ongoing counseling support for individuals managing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and other behavioral health needs.

Position Details

Location: Connecticut
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete intake assessments and gather relevant clinical history
  • Develop treatment plans based on each client's needs, goals, and presenting concerns
  • Use evidence-based counseling methods such as CBT, DBT-informed skills, solution-focused therapy, or related approaches
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans when clinically appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation
  • Assess safety concerns and follow proper reporting, escalation, and crisis protocols
  • Follow all HIPAA, ethical, and state licensing requirements for telehealth services

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active Connecticut Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing
  • Experience providing therapy to adults, couples, families, or diverse client populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and progress notes
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
  • Able to work independently while maintaining strong clinical judgment
  • Telehealth experience or additional training in CBT, trauma-informed care, DBT, or related areas is a plus
