• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, adapting approaches to meet individual client needs.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions for a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated care and coordinate treatment efforts.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards to ensure compliance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to remain informed about the latest mental health research and practices.

As a counseling professional at the Evangelical Counseling Center, you will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including families and individuals who may have limited access to traditional mental health services. Our clients face a variety of mental health challenges, and it is your role to provide them with the support and tools necessary for personal growth and recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in clinical settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and technology to facilitate patient care.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use is highly desirable.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling field is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to enhance client outcomes.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, depending on experience and caseload.
