This role operates in an outpatient setting entirely remotely, allowing counselors to connect with clients in a comfortable and convenient environment. Our outpatient counseling center facilities ensure that counselors can meet with clients either virtually or in-person when required. Counselors work with clients on an appointment basis, empowering them to choose times that best suit their personal schedules while providing them access to the mental health support they need.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to understand clients' needs and determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to effectively support clients.
• Facilitate individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for all participants.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams that may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in line with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient record-keeping.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated on research, attending workshops, and acquiring new skills relevant to mental health practice.

The LPC will work primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our practice places an emphasis on inclusivity, serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, ensuring everyone feels respected and valued.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting is required.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations regarding clinical practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with clients.

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.

• Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, determined by caseload and experience.
