Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking skilled Excavator Operators with experience handling wet utilities. Responsible for operating equipment to excavate ditches and structures, lay pipe and precast concrete structures, and general excavation and backfill work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Participate as a vital team member, contributing towards safety and success
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1+years of experience operating equipment
- OSHA 10 or higher
- Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
- Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
The Excavator Operator must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and environments, including exposure to dust, noise, and live traffic. This role requires the ability to climb in and out of heavy equipment, sit for extended periods while operating machinery, and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and carrying tools or attachments up to 50 pounds.
