Job description

With expertise across various applications, we deliver high-precision components and complete products tailored to exceed customer expectations.

Summary:

Program, set up and run CNC Machining Centers to produce the most complex proven or new parts with little supervision. Assist in the development of new processes. Participate as a contributing member in a team-oriented setting. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate various types of CNC machines, perform progressive machining operations to create the product
  • Write and qualify CNC programs that produce parts conforming to print requirements
  • Meet quality and schedule requirements
  • Monitor tool life and replace cutting tools as needed
  • Work effectively with little supervision
  • Troubleshoot programming and in-process production issues
  • Perform CNC setups for other production personnel to run
  • Run prototype or complex parts as needed
  • Provide written operational feedback for both new and repeating jobs to aid in process improvement efforts
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
  • Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to operators and lower level machinists as required

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 

  • 3-6 years in a manufactring environment with CNC experience
