  • Build and manage a robust pipeline from lead to close (cold outreach, networking, bid portals, referrals, industry events).
  • Expand wallet share within existing accounts with upgrades, retrofits, and service agreements.

Consulting & Solution Design

  • Lead discovery with stakeholders (operations, asset management, construction) to capture scope, unit counts, riser needs, and performance requirements.
  • Translate requirements into integrated solutions across access control (doors, readers, controllers), CCTV (IP cameras, NVR/VMS), intrusion, intercom/door entry, A/V (amenity spaces, conference, fitness), and structured cabling/telecom.
  • Coordinate with engineering/estimating for drawings, BOMs, riser diagrams, and shop submittals.

Proposal & Bid Management

  • Prepare detailed proposals, pricing, alternates, value engineering options, and schedule assumptions.
  • Navigate RFPs/RFQs, bid portals, and pre-construction meetings; present and defend solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Negotiate terms (scope, milestones, payment terms) in alignment with company margin targets.

Project Handoff & Customer Success

  • Perform clean handoffs to operations with complete scope, BOM, drawings, and schedule; stay engaged through major milestones.
  • Support change orders and scope clarifications; ensure customer satisfaction leading to renewals and referrals.
  • Promote service contracts, remote monitoring, and lifecycle upgrades.

Market & Vendor Engagement

  • Maintain current knowledge of multifamily trends (smart units, managed Wi‐Fi, smart access, amenity A/V).
  • Build relationships with key manufacturers and distribution partners; leverage MDF, co-marketing, and certifications.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Sales Consulting and Consulting, with the ability to identify customer needs and tailor customized solutions.
  • Working knowledge of access control, CCTV/VMS, intrusion, intercom, A/V, and structured cabling (TIA/EIA standards, pathways, MDF/IDF, fiber/copper).
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written to effectively engage with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with multifamily construction workflows (design–bid–build, design–assist, submittals, RFIs, change orders).
  • Proactive and goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions for customer requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites and client meetings across SoCal.
