Job description

Job Title: Embedded Senior Software Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA (100% Onsite)
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
About the Role:
Seeking an Embedded Senior Software Engineer with experience in regulated environments. You will design, develop, and verify embedded software for aerospace and industrial applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards throughout the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop embedded software using C and/or model-based tools such as SCADE.

  • Define high-level and low-level software requirements.

  • Create requirements-based test cases and verification procedures.

  • Perform software integration and testing on target hardware with real and simulated I/O.

  • Ensure software complies with standards and guidelines; perform traceability analysis.

  • Participate in software certification audits (SOI stages).

  • Collaborate closely with Systems and Hardware teams to develop fuel management, measurement, and inerting systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years experience in embedded software development, verification, and/or integration.

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; team-oriented with initiative.

  • Experience in regulated environments (MUST HAVE).
