Job description

Scope of Position:
The Club Lounge Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our upper-tier Marriott Bonvoy members within the exclusive Club Lounge. This role ensures the lounge remains clean, well-stocked, and welcoming throughout service periods. Primary duties include preparing and replenishing breakfast offerings, all-day snacks, and evening hors d’oeuvres; restocking beverages; maintaining coffee service; and upholding guest service standards. Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous experience in a hotel or food & beverage environment preferred

  • Must meet the minimum legal age to serve alcoholic beverages

  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food handler’s permit as required by local/state laws

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (entire shift if necessary)

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently

  • Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to stay calm and work efficiently in high-pressure situations

  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability

Primary Responsibilities
    • Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.

    • Provide assistance with any guest needs, questions, or special requests.

    • Ensure a high level of service consistent with brand standards for elite members.

    • Set up and replenish daily breakfast offerings

    • Maintain all-day snack and beverage areas, ensuring freshness and availability.

    • Prepare, present, and restock evening hors d’oeuvres

    • Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation throughout service.

    • Keep all areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.

    • Restock plates, utensils, glassware, and condiments as needed.

    • Manage coffee service, including brewing and fulfilling guest requests.

    • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols.

    • Communicate any guest feedback, supply needs, or maintenance issues to the appropriate departments.

    • Ensure proper inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies.

    • Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage and Front Office teams to deliver a seamless lounge experience.
