Join our Team!
Smitty's is one of Canada's largest all-day family restaurant chains, operating from coast to coast. Almost all our restaurants are fully licensed, and a majority have separate lounges to accommodate teams, sports fans, and the happy hour crowd.
Our locations are always looking for experienced Restaurant Auditor and talented individuals.
  1. Restaurant Auditor- duties include:
  2. Preparing and posting journal entries, notifying supervisor of any discrepancies
  3. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms including VLT and Lotto
Requirements
  1. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a team member
  2. Excellent communication skills
  3. Prior cash management and customer service experience
  4. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs

Job Type: Part-time
Salary Range: $16.00 - 18.00 per hour
Lotto Responsibilities
  1. Sell lottery tickets and lottery-related products to customers.
  2. Process lottery transactions accurately and efficiently.
  3. Verify winning tickets and provide excellent customer service.
  4. Maintain compliance with lottery regulations and company policies.
  5. Keep the lotto area organized and stocked.
Qualifications
  1. Lottery sales certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is required.
  2. Previous experience with lotto sales is an asset.
  3. Knowledge of accounting, cash reconciliation, and bank deposits preferred.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Good communication and customer service skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability
  1. Must be available to work full-time, including flexible shifts as needed.
  2. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Accounting, auditing, cash handling, or lotto sales experience preferred.
Certification: Lotto certification required.
