Job description

Description

San Diego based commercial property services company seeking an experienced  Commercial Property Maintenance Project Manager  to join our growing team.

Lead multiple commercial projects across San Diego County while delivering exceptional service, strong coordination, and high-quality results in a fast-paced environment

About the Position

This is a field-based role focused on coordinating commercial property repairs, maintenance, and small improvement projects for shopping centers, office buildings, industrial parks and other commercial properties. Rather than managing large-scale construction projects, you'll oversee multiple service jobs, coordinate subcontractors, build relationships with property managers, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service.

  • Coordinate and manage multiple commercial property repair, maintenance, and small improvement projects from initial site visit through completion.
  • Visit commercial properties throughout San Diego County to assess project needs and develop scopes of work.
  • Prepare estimates, material lists, and project proposals.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and materials to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Conduct site visits throughout each project to ensure quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with property managers through proactive communication and dependable follow-through.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and timelines while managing multiple active jobs simultaneously.
  • Identify issues early and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using company software.
  • Assist with field troubleshooting and minor repairs when needed.
  • Professionally represent LOT Commercial Property Services with clients, tenants, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends to respond to urgent client property service needs.

 About You

If you enjoy solving problems, working with people, and seeing projects through from start to finish, this is an excellent opportunity to build your career with a stable, growing company. As our General Property Services division continues to expand, you'll have the opportunity to take on larger and more complex projects while growing professionally.

Successful Candidates Are:

  •  Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communicators who keep customers informed.
  • Resourceful problem solvers who make sound decisions in the field.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with      teammates.
  • Customer-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service.
  • Detail-oriented and accountable for the quality of their work.
  • Interested in learning, growing, and taking on additional responsibilities as the division expands.

Requirements

  Skills and Experience Required

  • Typically requires at least 4+ years of experience in commercial property maintenance, facilities management, construction coordination, commercial building operations, or a related field.
  • Experience preparing estimates and scopes of work for repair, maintenance, or improvement projects.
  • Working knowledge of commercial building systems, maintenance repairs, subcontractor coordination, and small tenant improvement projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple active jobs while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers, mobile technology, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project management software such as Zoho or similar      platforms.
  • Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel throughout San Diego County daily.
