Job description

Warehouse Forklift Operator

Max Pay Rate $18.00 1st Shift: 2 schedules Sunday - Thursday and Monday - Friday. Could be working 9 to 11 hour days until work is completed. Day loader start time would 10am Loading ocean containers. Lot more consolidating and upstacking. Must have standup pacer / counter balance forklift experience. Preferably Crown equipment. Must be comfortable working on a cold dock ranging from 35 degrees - 85 degrees Fahrenheit PLEASE PUT ON TOP of RESUME. Must have Standup Pacer/Counter balance forklift experience. Preferably Crown equipment. Comfortable working on a cold dock ranging from 35 degrees to 85 degrees and going into a freezer occasionally.

Interview: will be in person and the time interviews are done are Monday - Thursday between 2pm-5pm and it last 30 minutes.

Experience: Minimum of 2 plus years of experience in this type of work. The manager does not want someone with no experience. He needs them to hit the ground running. He needs to see consistent 6 month assignment on resume. Min of 2 plus Years of Experience with at least 6 months of consistent work in this type of position. Responsible for loading pre-assembled merchandise/pallets and master containers for shipment or transporting in large shipping containers for international export as directed under general supervision. Loads and unloads shipments of product, prepares product for shipment under general supervision (includes weighing, handling, transporting, marking, addressing, and packing loads), loads shipping containers according to mapping and special instructions in manner to avoid damages and maintain load stability, wraps pallets by machine or hand to ensure stability, unloads and cleans out shipping containers as necessary, operates stock trucks and mechanical jacks consistently and in a safe manner, hand loads product onto shipping containers as required, checks and ensures product has been loaded correctly for export by referring to export documents. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read, write, and understand English, basic arithmetic skills, and good physical stamina (must be able to constantly lift boxes weighing up to 100 lbs). Reports to Outbound Warehouse Supervisor.
