Job description

CITITRENDS is seeking a Loss Prevention Operations Analyst to be a key member of the Loss Prevention team, working with field leadership, corporate leaders and Regional Loss Prevention Managers to provide analysis and insights to reduce shrink and improve associate safety. In addition, this role will play a key project management role supporting the implementation and maintenance of company LP assets. The LP Analyst will own case management reporting and documentation of company policies and procedures to ensure expected security measures are in place. The Loss Prevention Operations Analyst will play a critical role in building a positive work culture, driving process improvement, streamlining work efforts and supporting change-management efforts within the retail organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Leverage loss prevention and safety data including LP case statistics, shrink and workers comp/general liability claims to identify trends and opportunities to partners across the organization
  • Work with the Sr. Director of LP and cross-functional business partners to streamline and improve current LP administrative and reporting processes. Leverage other functional areas to automate reporting, increasing focus on analytics
  • Manage operational aspects of loss prevention through effective vendor management and expense control. Includes management of store alarm systems and security guard programs
  • Manage Loss Prevention expenses, working with finance to develop forecast and budget and understand variances in actual spend
  • Function as project manager for loss prevention projects, engaging with other areas of the company to define project scope, goals and deliverables. Projects can include physical security systems, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection and other related technologies
  • Act as LP-point person on test and control analytics and evaluation of results, making recommendations to improve results

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • 4+ years' experience in operational support or financial analysis in a multi-unit environment
