Job description

CITITRENDS is seeking a Regional Loss Prevention Manager to partner closely with Store Operations, Field Leadership, Distribution Centers, and Human Resources to build and sustain a culture of safety, security, and compliance across assigned locations.

This role is responsible for identifying risk, conducting investigations, reducing shrink, and influencing behavior through training, accountability, and data-driven insights. In addition to day-to-day execution, this leader will contribute to enterprise loss prevention initiatives, support change management efforts, and reinforce a positive, ethical work environment.

What You'll Do

Loss Prevention & Investigations

  • Lead and coordinate investigations involving loss of company assets using exception reporting, surveillance, and field research

  • Conduct associate interviews and manage follow-up actions including restitution and prosecution when appropriate

  • Partner with Store Operations, Distribution Centers, and HR throughout the investigative process

  • Provide targeted support to stores with shrink exceeding 4% of sales, identifying root causes and driving corrective action

  • Communicate investigation findings, trends, and insights to senior leadership, including VP of Store Operations, Director of Accounting & Loss Prevention, Regional Managers, District Managers, and Store Managers

Risk Mitigation & Compliance

  • Utilize exception reporting tools to identify risks and ensure compliance with company policies

  • Conduct store and distribution center audits to validate adherence to operational controls and LP standards

  • Ensure stores are equipped to protect customers, associates, and assets, with a focus on new and remodeled locations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement to address market-level concerns

Training & Culture Building

  • Develop and deliver loss prevention training across stores and districts

  • Participate in store and district meetings to reinforce awareness of LP policies and best practices

  • Support employee engagement, accountability, and change management efforts that promote a safe and ethical workplace

Additional Responsibilities

Education & Experience

  • Experience using Agilence or similar exception-based reporting tools

  • Working knowledge of HR policies as they relate to investigations

  • Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) certification preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer

  • Frequent use of hands for data entry and technology use

  • Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written)

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
