On their behalf, we are seeking a Senior Risk Engineer - Property to join an evolving, high-impact technical team.

In this role, you will serve as a vital link between complex engineering data and strategic underwriting decisions, helping to shape modern, scalable risk management practices for commercial property and construction portfolios. Key Responsibilities Underwriting Partnership: Collaborate closely with underwriting teams to evaluate risk profiles, facilitating disciplined account selection and profitable portfolio development. Technical Risk Analysis: Conduct comprehensive hazard assessments, perform site inspections, and model complex loss scenarios, including EML and MFL projections.

Reporting & Insights: Generate detailed technical risk reports featuring clear, practical risk-mitigation recommendations, and synthesize third-party engineering data into actionable underwriting insights. Methodology & Innovation: Contribute to the design and enhancement of proprietary risk assessment frameworks, predictive tools, and loss estimation models. Market Engagement: Act as a proactive technical advisor during broker and client interactions, reinforcing the company's reputation as a sophisticated risk partner.

Knowledge Sharing: Monitor industry trends and emerging risk landscapes to inform broader underwriting strategies and conduct internal training sessions to elevate team capabilities. Qualifications & Experience Professional Experience: 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience in property and construction risk engineering, loss control, or technical risk consulting. Domain Expertise: Proven track record evaluating large, sophisticated industrial or commercial risks, alongside strong familiarity with risk improvement methodologies.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate intricate technical concepts into commercial value.
