About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Electrical, Control, and Telemetry Design Engineer to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our gas distribution systems and compressor stations. Key Responsibilities: Generate load flow, short circuit, and Arc-Flash reports using the Easy Power modeling tool. Design electrical and control systems for gas distribution and compressor stations.

Provide technical input for electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, focusing on commissioning and operation. Identify and optimize factors affecting throughput, costs, reliability, and risks to equipment, personnel, and the environment. Lead engineering assessments and design projects for capital and maintenance initiatives.

Support and lead engineering tasks for integration initiatives within the team and broader business, optimizing engineering and operations, including content management. Coordinate with Stations and Low Carbon Transition Engineering groups for design requirements and reviews. Actively participate in risk review, asset management review sessions, and various industry activities.

Lead responses to change requests submitted by stakeholders. Build strong relationships with Electrical, Control and Energy Systems, Gas Control, Regional Operations, Construction, System Improvement, and other partners. Qualifications: Education & Experience: University degree in Electrical Engineering.

Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario (PEO) or eligibility for membership. Minimum of 4 years of related technical work experience in electrical or control systems design. Preferred: 2 years of experience in power system modeling.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and Outlook. Strong capability to work effectively with clients and vendors while maintaining the company's business focus and ethics. Awareness of applicable industry codes, standards, and best practices.

Strong organizational, planning, negotiating, and leadership skills. Working Conditions: Some travel required within Ontario (20%). Valid G License and driver's abstract needed.
