Description:

The Power Systems Product Support Representative (PSSR) will provide product support and rental solutions for electrical and industrial customers. This position will be responsible for integrating the parts and service offerings to fit the customer’s needs and be the point of contact for the Power Systems department regarding equipment maintenance and rental support.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Promote and sell product support services and products into assigned territory to meet sales objectives
  • Contact prospective and current customers to determine customer needs, present product support information, and explain other available Riggs services
  • Research, present, and quote power systems solutions custom to the customer need
  • Quotes and sells customer value agreements (CVA)
  • Monitor customer machine components to ensure maximum life of product
  • Rent equipment and services, including power generation, temperature control, and air compressors along with any required ancillary products
  • Achieve rental sales and profit goals, calling on regular and prospective customers, assuring all equipment deliveries meet the conditions of the rental agreement and monitor customer satisfaction for all products
  • Use strategic account planning to align Riggs business with our customers
  • Communicates Riggs value proposition to customers
  • Performs administrative tasks such as activity reporting and tracking reports to keep department up to date on activity
  • Work with all departments across the Riggs enterprise to ensure a Riggs win in the market
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Minimum 5 years of product support experience with power systems equipment
  • Able to travel within Riggs Power Solutions territory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, customer management tools, sales planning tools, and/or other comparable systems
  • Working knowledge of Caterpillar computer systems is a plus
