Therapeutic Transportation Specialist

Therapeutic Transportation Specialist are compensated $20.00 an hour for short distance assignments and $25.00 per hour for long distance transports.

Hours of availability preferred are 7:00 to 10:00 AM & 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday

As a Therapeutic Transportation Specialist, you will provide daily transportation to at-risk children and youth to and from school, medical appointments, visitation, and other requested locations. Specialist will gain an understanding of the client and their needs through participation in the development of an Individualized Service Plan and be responsible for maintaining appropriate, therapeutic interactions and completion of all required documentation. Specialist will primarily be assigned short distance routes, transporting 1-2 youth on a daily basis. One-time, long-distance assignments including transporting youth in and out-of-state. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a clear understanding of appropriate boundaries, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to build relationship with youth.

Education and Experience Required: The selected candidate will have at minimum a high school diploma/GED and at least one year working with children and adolescents with mental illness and/or skills training preferred. Candidate must have a valid Driver's License.
