Class A CDL Driver
(Overnights required)
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for our Transportation team in Independence, LA.
In this role you will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, tankers, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition
  • Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations
  • Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed
  • Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills

Basic Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Active Hazmat & Tanker endorsement
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
  • Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
  • Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours during the week, including long-distance travel and approx. up to four overnight stays per week
  • Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
  • The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste. This role is considered safety-sensitive
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship

Preferred Requirements:
  • Proficiency in driving manual transmission
  • Previous experience in environmental services or related field
