Job description

Looking for an experienced Boat Mechanic and Technician to join our award winning marina and the only High Dry facilities in the County. We are a dealer for a couple lines of boats focusing on pontoons. The marina is a certified dealer for both Suzuki and Mercury lines but handle maintenance on all lines of outboard motors, I/O motors, and Yanmar.

Candidates must have experience with marinas or boat dealers, 3+ years of actual mechanic work. We have a great staff and we are experiencing solid growth and need the position to be filled quickly. Hernando Beach Marina is the leading marina in the county and focus on customer service.

Job Responsibilities

Production Mechanic who can

Diagnose and repair problems with O/B and I/O engines, Marine electronics and other systems

Repair of Outdrives and lower units

Rigging new boats

Perform Sea trials

Install Electronics

Help with maintenance on marina equipment

Tools required and certification a plus

Compensation based on experience
