Description
Title: Cell Logistics Specialist
Location Cartersville, GA
SUMMARY
The Cell Raw Material Management Specialist will support logistics activities related to cell manufacturing ramp-up preparation and subsequent raw material operations at Hanwha Qcells Georgia Inc.
This role focuses on supporting logistics readiness for cell production, assisting in the setup and stabilization of logistics processes during the ramp-up phase, and managing raw material inventory once production operations are established. Key materials include wafers, polysilicon, and other cell manufacturing components.
The position will work closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers (3PL) to ensure proper inbound logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control across internal and external storage locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support logistics preparation activities required for cell manufacturing ramp-up, including warehouse readiness and material handling setup
  • Assist in establishing and stabilizing logistics processes for raw material storage, handling, and inventory management during the production ramp-up phase
  • Monitor inbound logistics activities and ensure timely receipt and system registration of raw materials.
  • Manage raw material inventory through SAP and ensure alignment with physical inventory across internal and external warehouses
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies between system and physical stock
  • Manage FIFO operations by reviewing aging reports, GR dates, and material classification dates
  • Coordinate with 3PL providers to ensure accurate receiving, storage, cycle counting, and inventory handling
  • Maintain logistics master data related to raw materials and warehouse operations
  • Monitor raw material inventory levels and report potential supply risks
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding inventory status and logistics operations
  • Support weekly and monthly operational reporting and meetings
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Management or related fields
  • At least 5 years of warehouse management related experience
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, internal and external warehouse
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast pace, professional, team environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately for project schedules and other deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in manufacturing industries, especially in renewable energy
  • Proficiency in Korean and English, both spoken and written
  • Excellent computer literacy with an advanced knowledge in SAP and Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of SCM and logistics
  • Experience in high-volume and multi-site distribution with understanding of
    FMS, TMS/EPR systems
