Location: Golden Triangle area (North Mississippi)

The Job

Burns Waste is hiring a Front Load Driver responsible for the safe and efficient operation of front load trucks to service commercial and construction customers. This role plays a key part in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring timely pickups, safe transport, and professional customer interaction.

This position requires a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service, along with the ability to work independently and stay on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate front-load and roll-off trucks to service assigned routes
  • Pick up, transport, and deliver waste and recyclable materials to designated facilities
  • Ensure proper loading, securement, and transport
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards
  • Accurately complete required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch
  • Place containers properly to avoid damage, obstruction, or safety issues
  • Perform basic truck checks (fluids, tires, cleanliness) and report maintenance needs
  • Keep equipment clean and presentable
  • Provide professional, courteous service at all customer locations
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR screening
  • Ability to pass DOT drug screen, background check, and Clearinghouse query
  • Experience operating front load trucks preferred
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and DOT compliance
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in all interactions
