Job Overview

The Logistics Support Manager plays a key role in executing assigned Logistic tasks. This includes directly and indirectly supports all logistics functions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in management of fleet including reporting responsibilities to upper management.
  • Oversee daily logistics operations, including scheduling, dispatching, routing, and maintenance.
  • Supervise and support the Logistics team, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Monitoring of vehicle telematics and camera systems when needed.
  • Collaborate with Distribution, Operations, sales, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Ensure all Logistics activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Track and analyze Logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance and documentation is well maintained.
  • Works with team on equipment KPIs such as PM completions and Fleet management to ensure correct equipment that is fit for purpose and represents Byrne well while on the road.

Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the dairy or food industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • CDL A preferred.
