Schedule:

Thursday through Monday dayshift, Tuesday & Wednesday off.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The candidate should possess excellent communication abilities, a proactive attitude, and a keen eye for detail, even with limited direct supervision.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or truckload dispatch.
  • Proven ability to schedule and track drivers and shipments efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking capabilities with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to make multiple outbound calls to carriers each day to obtain information.
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities, maintaining diplomacy, confidentiality, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor TMS while working with carriers, paying attention to detail on rates, temperature accuracy, appointment times, and transit time.
  • Communicate with customer service utilizing multiple platforms, offering updates on current shipments and addressing issues.
  • Monitor all shipments currently in transit or scheduled for transit and obtain confirmation from carriers of their status.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Transportation Management System (TMS) concerning shipments and deliveries.
  • Communicate with carriers via multiple platforms to gather and collect information pertaining to loads and onboarding
  • Verification of insurance of carriers
  • Handle both inbound and outbound calls under the direction of the Capacity Manager
  • Data entry of load information
  • Data entry and updates in carrier profiles
  • Assisting in gathering information for specific load issues
  • Monitoring emails for issues to hand off to Capacity Managers to handle
  • Additional duties as assigned by Capacity Manager based on operational needs.
