Position: Logistics Specialist
Type: Full-time
Location: San Diego, CA
Travel: 25%
**Contingent Upon Award**
Position Summary: The Logistics Specialists provides Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for Maritime and Air Life Support Equipment (MALSE) across Naval Special Warfare Logistics Support Units. This role supports lifecycle sustainment, inventory accountability, maintenance planning, documentation adjudication, and database accuracy for maritime survival and air/parachute systems. The Logistics Specialist directly enables operational readiness, equipment traceability, and sustainment compliance for NSW missions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support N4 portfolio managers with MALSE logistics and inventory management
  • Assist with lifecycle sustainment planning, LCSPs, ISPs, and material fielding plans
  • Perform property accountability using APSR and maintenance management systems
  • Track deliveries, demilitarization, inventory levels, and contract execution plans
  • Serve as ILS SME across supply support, maintenance planning, PHS&T, and technical data
  • Coordinate with NAVICP, NAVSEA, DLA, and other agencies as required

Required Qualifications:
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • 3 years within the USSOCOM Enterprise (N4 or N8) providing Integrate Logistics Support (ILS) support
  • 5 years in ILS functions including: Provisioning, 3-M Maintenance, Sustainment Planning, Contracts, Disposal processes (DEMIL, FMS, CMP, IGS)
  • 5 years adjudicating logistics documentation, including: TMs, MFPs, CMPs, LCSPs, MOA/MOU/EAA, SOW/WP, Integration Manuals, ICDs, Basis of Issue Plans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to write military-formatted correspondence when required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Professional bearing and tactful communication with military and civilian personnel
  • Understanding of NSW missions, including air drop and maritime survival operations
  • Ability to work onsite at Government facilities
  • Ability to travel, including temporary duty assignments
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use a compute for extended periods

The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
