Job Title: Logistics Support II
Type of Engagement: 6-month contract to hire (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Hybrid position in Hazelwood, MO
Job Overview:
The Export Coordinator is responsible for managing export administration and distribution activities to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient delivery of products to international customers and partners. This role supports end-to-end stock deployment, ensuring high service levels while optimizing cost, sustainability, and compliance with global trade regulations.
The position works cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance, Commercial Operations, and Trade Compliance to ensure smooth export operations and continuous improvement.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Export & Logistics Operations
  • Manage execution of export orders and deliveries in ERP systems
  • Coordinate international shipments (land, air, sea) with logistics providers
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation requirements
  • Oversee invoicing, shipping documents, and export paperwork
  • Maintain product flow and availability for customers and partners
Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned international customers
  • Communicate order status and resolve issues proactively
  • Handle logistics complaints and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with internal teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment
Planning & Performance Management
  • Monitor KPIs and analyze performance trends to identify root causes
  • Develop and execute action plans to drive service and efficiency improvements
  • Support replenishment planning in collaboration with supply planners
  • Maintain master data related to export flows
Continuous Improvement & Projects
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Lead or support logistics and operational improvement initiatives
  • Participate in governance, SIM (Short Interval Management), and team routines
Team & Collaboration
  • Act as a subject matter expert for export processes and tools
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Provide backup support across the team when needed

Required Skills & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Distribution
  • Experience working in an international, cross-cultural environment
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and data tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
