Job Summary The CX Router efficiently and safely dispatches fleet(drivers) while meeting delivery expectations and maintaining superior customer service. This a fast paced/high volume distribution operation and the position interacts with both internal and external customers.

Job Duties Develop cost-effective and efficient routes while satisfying service requirements. Monitor routes and collaborate with the logistics team to gain new efficiencies Improve fleet operation and driver management through the effective use of technology Ensure all drivers are using the software effectively and according to defined processes Contain and reduce logistics spending Balance customer needs against the cost of service while creatively using all company assets Interface with customers, vendors, and internal contacts Translate internal requests into tasks which are completed timely and efficient manner Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets and logs for evaluating logistics/truck performanceRequirements High School Diploma or equivalent Familiar with the Chicagoland area Computer competency including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word Strong communication skills Strong organization and time management skills.
