Job SummaryAs a Medical Equipment Planning, Logistics Project Manager, you will play a critical role in planning and facilitating the successful deployment of medical equipment into healthcare facilities and hospitals. You will be responsible for turning the project vision into reality by ensuring that all equipment is delivered, staged, and placed accurately according to design drawings, and patient-ready upon installation.
This position requires close coordination with internal teams, hospital staff, and client project managers, while managing communications with vendors and overseeing the performance of third-party warehousing and delivery partners.
Your leadership will be essential in driving timelines, resolving logistical challenges, and ensuring seamless execution across all stages of equipment deployment.Responsibilities & QualificationsDuties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for your time management and meeting agreed deadlines set by the team. You will also be accountable for the self-development of your career and actively learning from others, taking advantage of formal training and development, applying relevant academic or industry knowledge, and asking for help when needed.

Installation Management
  • Oversee and coordinate the installation of medical equipment in alignment with construction schedules and room readiness.

  • Verify equipment placement matches architectural and MEP drawings, ensuring accuracy with design intent.

  • Conduct walkthroughs to confirm proper staging, placement, and patient-ready setup of equipment.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff and facility stakeholders during installation phases to address on-site needs.

  • Responsible for Pulling reports and preparing plans in advance of deployment utilizing Planview/Attainia software

  • Responsible for providing punchlist feedback of on-site issues timely and keeping up to date either live in field or within 24 hours back to the internal project team

  • Managing vendors, ensuring accurate placement and installation of equipment, and overseeing all warehousing and delivery operations to ensure equipment is patient-ready and installed per design specifications.

Installation Issue Resolution Support
  • Identify and resolve issues related to missing, damaged, or misdelivered equipment in coordination with vendors and warehouse teams.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting logistical or installation-related challenges.

  • Escalate high-risk issues proactively while ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

  • Maintain documentation of all resolved issues for quality assurance and future reference.

  • Follow-up on equipment installation issues including documentation both written and photographic

Assembly
  • Coordinate on-site assembly of equipment requiring integration, configuration, or final setup.

  • Manage third-party technicians or vendor personnel during equipment assembly.

  • Ensure equipment is assembled to manufacturer specifications and hospital standards.

  • May assist with minor assembly as necessary

Warehouse and Delivery Scheduling
  • Manage the logistics between warehouse partners and project sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

  • Create and maintain delivery schedules based on construction progress and room readiness milestones.

  • Monitor and track inventory movements from warehouse to final installation site.

  • Coordinate staging processes to streamline on-site delivery and reduce handling time.

Financial and Contractual Awareness
  • Maintain a working knowledge of project deployment budgets, warehouse contracts, and reimbursable expense limits to ensure logistics decisions align with financial parameters.

  • Understand the cost implications of delivery schedules, truckload capacities, and changes to warehousing plans.

  • Coordinate with project managers and finance teams to support accurate tracking of reimbursable items and avoid unapproved expenditures.

  • Assist in evaluating vendor and third-party logistics proposals, ensuring alignment with project scope, timeline, and budget constraints.

Training
  • Trains any logistics specialists and coordinators on the team

Travel:
