Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our indoor sports facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events, managing game scheduling, maintaining facility standards, and providing an exceptional experience for both players and visitors. The Operations Manager will play a key role in coordinating staff, handling logistics, and improving operational efficiency to support a thriving sports environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Game Scheduling & Execution:

    • Develop, manage, and optimize the scheduling of games, leagues, and events to maximize facility usage and meet customer demand.
    • Coordinate with coaches, referees, and team managers to ensure timely and seamless execution of games and events.
    • Resolve scheduling conflicts promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Facility Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day facility operations, ensuring that the indoor sports environment remains clean, safe, and fully operational.
    • Supervise routine maintenance and repair of sports equipment and facilities, ensuring they are up to industry standards.
    • Manage inventory and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and replaced as needed.
  • Team Management & Supervision:

    • Lead, train, and manage a team of operational staff, including referees, event coordinators, and custodial personnel.

  • Budgeting & Financial Oversight:

    • Assist in the development and management of the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective practices are followed in all aspects of facility management.
    • Monitor expenses related to game scheduling, staff management, and facility maintenance.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure that the facility adheres to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
    • Regularly inspect the premises to ensure safety protocols are being followed and that emergency procedures are in place.
  • Marketing & Promotion:

    • Work with the marketing team to promote upcoming events, leagues, and special offers, boosting awareness and increasing attendance.
    • Help develop promotional materials and coordinate marketing efforts to increase participation in sports activities hosted at the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
