Job Summary

F3EA is seeking a Field Logistics Coordinator to support Blue Water Instrumentation (BWI) operations at the Point Mugu Sea Range.

This role is responsible for enabling the successful execution of test and experimentation events by ensuring equipment, materials, personnel support, and logistics processes are synchronized and delivered without failure.

The Field Logistics Coordinator operates at the point of execution—supporting R&D, prototyping, and field testing efforts tied to Over-the-Horizon maritime instrumentation, telemetry systems, and command-and-control experimentation. This position requires a detail-oriented, mission-focused professional who can manage logistics in dynamic environments where timelines are tight and failure is not an option.

This position is designed to ensure that logistics never becomes the point of failure in a high-tempo R&D and test environment. The Field Logistics Coordinator enables mission execution by ensuring that the right equipment, in the right configuration, is delivered at the right time—every time.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics support for test events, including equipment staging, transportation, and accountability
  • Manage receipt, storage, inventory, and distribution of equipment and materials supporting BWI operations
  • Coordinate movement of prototype systems, test equipment, and support gear between lab, warehouse, and field environments
  • Maintain property accountability and inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking of all assigned equipment
  • Support kitting and configuration of equipment packages required for test and training events
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and program staff to ensure logistics requirements are identified and fulfilled in advance of execution
  • Assist with procurement support, including sourcing, tracking, and receiving of materials and equipment
  • Support transportation planning and execution, including vehicle utilization and load planning
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with FFL/FEL requirements and controlled equipment handling, as applicable
  • Support field operations, including setup and teardown of logistics support areas during test events
  • Track and report logistics status, shortages, and risks to program leadership
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures
  • Maintain organized warehouse, staging, and storage areas to support rapid deployment of assets

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None

Required Qualifications and Education
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply, or operations support
  • Experience with inventory management, property accountability, or warehouse operations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience supporting field operations, training events, or operational environments
  • Proficiency with inventory tracking systems and basic logistics documentation
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and work in warehouse and outdoor environments
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret or higher)

Preferred Qualifications and Education
  • Experience supporting DoD programs, test ranges, or training environments
  • Familiarity with property accountability systems (e.g., A2B, GCSS-Army, or similar)
  • Background in expeditionary or forward-deployed logistics operations
  • Experience supporting RDT&E or prototype-driven programs
  • Knowledge of transportation coordination and fleet management
  • Prior military or defense contractor experience
