We are excited to add a Logistics Supervisor to our growing team at Dinex Emission! This is a full-time, in-person position located in Dublin, GA.

About the Role:

The Logistics Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the logistics and warehousing operations to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods. This position is responsible for overseeing warehouse supply chain operations within the company, ensuring that products, goods and materials are delivered, stored, and received efficiently and on schedule. This role is a central point of coordination between warehouse, customer support, production, and the quality teams.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations with leadership responsibilities is required.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, material control, and freight forwarding processes.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Certifications in logistics or supply chain management such as ISPM, USMCA, or other logistics-related credentials.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities.
  • Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, organizing storage, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement, maintain high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Implement process improvements, pull systems, and information systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and conduct cost analysis to select cost-effective transportation options and monitor logistics performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and quality standards in warehousing and logistics operations.

The required skills such as freight forwarding, material control, and warehouse management systems are essential for coordinating and overseeing the movement and storage of goods efficiently. Work Enviornment

  • Primarily warehouse, and manufacturing setting.
  • Must have the ability to lift at least 65lbs.
  • Reports to the Warehouse Manager in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
