Position Overview
A growing Japanese chemical trading company is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics & Customer Operations Specialist to support daily logistics operations, order fulfillment, inventory coordination, and customer service activities. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, warehouses, carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant shipment execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform reconciliations, and identify potential shortages
  • Process customer orders and provide timely status updates
  • Communicate with customers, warehouses, and transportation providers to manage delivery schedules and resolve issues
  • Manage shipping, customs, and transportation documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Review freight options and transportation costs to support cost-effective logistics planning
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and ERP system data
  • Support customer invoicing processes and ensure billing accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve logistics, delivery, and customer service issues
