MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.
  • 5 years of experience identifying issues in processes, creating solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to drive these changes.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting supply chain, logistics, or vendor relations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MBA, Master's degree in a related field, or CSCMP certification.
  • 5 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights in order to guide business decisions.
  • Experience with data center logistics.

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex,multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders toplan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicateclearly with cross-functional partners across the company. In this role, you will be the leader of how Google optimizes daily logisticsprocesses while incorporating current industry standards and best practices. Youwill be responsible for driving continuous process improvement recommendations,managing the implementation of changes within operations, standardizing userdocumentation, creating processes that motivate action, and interacting with allpartner teams. You will initiate and oversee operational improvement efforts forNASA Google Cloud Logistics (GCL), analyze operational impacts to informimprovements, work with key stakeholders, motivate innovation within theoperational teams, and create presentations or documents for the leadership teamhighlighting operational performance and improvements. This work will interactwith both data center operations and warehouse operations as well.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $111000 - $160000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own the end-to-end daily logistics operations management, including material and information flow. Be responsible for managing 3PL vendor operating warehouse and data centers in assigned locations.
  • Manage performance to the aligned service level agreements ensuring business continuity. Drive alignment and prioritization of initiatives in a fast-paced environment with many interdependencies.
  • Manage third-party logistics partners with associates on their teams dedicated to our account. Manage and monitor metrics for KPIs, vendor performance scorecards, and development of business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements.
  • Recognize improvement opportunities to the cost or quality of services to be provided. Be proactive in turning these thoughts into a documented business case, present the business case to your peers and management for approval, and provide ongoing project management.
